പിന്നേ ആരു പറഞ്ഞു? ഇക്കാലത്ത് സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്ക് ചെയ്യാന്‍ കഴിയാത്ത കാര്യം എന്താണ്? കാര്‍, ബൈക്ക്, ലോറി, ബസ്, വിമാനം തുടങ്ങിയ വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ ഓടിക്കും, കുടുംബ ഭരണം തൊട്ട് രാജ്യഭരണം കോര്‍പ്പറേറ്റ് ഭരണം വരെ ചെയ്യും, ശൂന്യാകാശത്ത് പറന്നു നടക്കും, അദ്ധ്യാപകവൃത്തി മുതല്‍ ഐറ്റി കമ്പനി ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥകളായിയും വിലസും. കോടിക്കണക്കിന് ആരാധകരും കോടിക്കണക്കിന് സമ്പത്തുമുള്ള താരറാണിമാര്‍, അവര്‍ക്കൊപ്പം എത്തുന്ന ചാനല്‍ റാണിമാരും. അങ്ങനെ എന്തു കാര്യത്തിലാണ് അവര്‍ പിന്നിലെന്നാകുന്നത്.
ചാനലുകളും പത്രങ്ങളും ജീവിത വിജയം നേടി സ്ത്രീകളുടെ അപദാനം പാടി പുകഴ്ത്തുന്നത് സാധാരണ കാഴ്ച്ചയാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെ ആണെങ്കിലും സമൂഹത്തിലെ പുരുഷ വര്‍ഗ്ഗം സ്ത്രീകളെ ആക്രമിച്ച് അസ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു എന്ന ഒരു പ്രശ്നമേയുള്ള. എവിടുന്നു വന്നു ഈ വൃത്തികെട്ട ഓട്ടോക്കാര്‍, കൂലിപ്പണിക്കാര്‍, കുറേ വെള്ള കോളര്‍ പണിക്കാരും. ആഭാസന്‍മാരാണവര്‍. സ്ത്രീകളെ ബഹുമാനിക്കാത്തവര്‍. ഇവറ്റകളെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കിയാല്‍ സ്ത്രീക്ക് പരമ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തോടെ സ്വതന്ത്ര കമ്പോളത്തില്‍ ജീവിക്കാം.
ഇതാണ് മിക്ക ഫെമിനിസറ്റുകളുടേയും വനിതാ സംഘടനകളുടേയും ചിന്താഗതി.
സൂഷ്മമായി നോക്കിയാല്‍ മുതലാളിത്തം തരുന്ന ഉത്പന്നങ്ങളും സേവനങ്ങളും സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്ക് ഉപയോഗിക്കാന്‍ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം നല്‍കണമെന്നതാണ് അതിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനം. ഇതാണ് കമ്പോള സ്ത്രീ വിമോചന വാദം. ജനസംഖ്യയുടെ പകുതി വരുന്ന സ്ത്രീകളേകൂടി സാമ്പത്തിക രംഗത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാക്കിയാല്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് ലാഭം കൂടും. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഉത്പന്നങ്ങളും സേവനങ്ങളും ഉപയോഗിക്കാന്‍ കപട ‘സ്ത്രീ വിമോചന’ വേഷം കെട്ടുന്നത്. നിര്‍ഭാഗ്യവശാല്‍ വലിയൊരു കൂട്ടം സ്ത്രീകളും സ്ത്രീ സംഘടകളും ഇവര്‍ക്കൊപ്പം ചേര്‍ന്ന് അടിസ്ഥാന പ്രശ്നങ്ങളെ മറച്ചുവെക്കുന്നു. മാധ്യമങ്ങളുടെ കാര്യം പ്രത്യേകം പറയേണ്ടല്ലോ. മൂലധനത്തിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്ഥ ചെരുപ്പ് നക്കികളാണല്ലോ അവര്‍.
ആദ്യത്തെ ചൂഷണ വ്യവസ്ഥയാണ് സ്ത്രീകളുടെ അടിമത്തം. എന്നാല്‍ സ്ത്രീക്ക് ഏതെങ്കിലുമൊരു ഉത്പന്നമോ സേവനമോ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെ സ്വതന്ത്രമാകാമെന്ന് പ്രചാരവേലക്കാരെ കൊണ്ട് നിരന്തരം പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ നാം സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തെ വിലക്ക് വാങ്ങാവുന്ന ഒരു ഉപഭോഗവസ്തുവായി കാണാന്‍ നിര്‍ബന്ധിതരാകുന്നു. ആ ഉത്പന്നം ഉപയോഗിക്കുകവഴി കിട്ടുന്ന ആത്മസംതൃപ്തിയെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യമായി വ്യാഖ്യാനിക്കുന്നു. കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ അതേ ചൂഷണ വ്യവസ്ഥയെ മുന്നോട്ട് കൊണ്ടുപോകാനുള്ള ആയുധങ്ങള്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് നാം നല്‍കുകയാണ്.
സ്ത്രീ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യമെന്നാല്‍ അടിമത്തത്തില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള മോചനമാണ്. അടിമത്തത്തില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള മോചനമെന്നാല്‍ ചൂഷണത്തില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള മോചനവും. അതായത് എല്ലാത്തരത്തിലുമുള്ള ചൂഷണ വ്യവസ്ഥകള്‍ ഇല്ലാതാകണം. അത് വ്യക്തമാക്കി പ്രശ്നം തുറന്നു പറയാത്ത സ്ത്രീ പക്ഷ വിമോചന പ്രതികരണങ്ങളെല്ലാം ഉപരിപ്ലവമായ കമ്പോള സ്ത്രീ വിമോചന വാദമാണ്. അതുപോലെ ഈ വ്യവസ്ഥയില്‍ എന്തും ചെയ്യാന്‍ കഴിയുകയും, ജീവിത വിജയം നേടുകയും ചെയ്ത സ്ത്രീകള്‍ പ്രതിനിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്നത് പുരുഷാധിപത്യത്തെ തന്നെയാണ്.

You are partially correct. Present day feminism basically intended to create market and thereby increase the profit of capitalist. A keen observation of the rules and regulations which we formulate with an intention to protect women is actually against the objective of gender justice. On the one side we need protection and other need equality. Moreover, almost all the discussions are keeping female as body not with spirit inside. I consider the route cause of gender difference and gendered roles are related with the biology. The most valuable asset, human resource, is produced and nurtured by female and this role should be identified and considered as an asset creation process of female by the society. Without identifying the basic issue related to this non-substitutable role of female , all the discussions are meaning less. Each and every society will reach a most suitable equilibrium position and if we want to create another equilibrium,the social circumstances should be changed. If it is not changing automatically, deliberate attempts should be there to change the social condition. This fight actually will be meaningful, if we identify the actual cause. The present day feminist talks are peripheral and it will be going to create long run negative impact through creating insecurity feeling in the minds of male and female due to their artificial separation.

It is really good. I accept your views. We are really beating around the bush talking about different types of “exploitation” and not accepting the fact that the “BIG” exploitation of the whole human being is taking place in the wide scenario under capitalism through market economy. we always talk about the symptoms of the disease and forget about the diseases per se. I strongly feel that the problem of women worldwide still are the question of mere existence. They try hard to live this life. Let all the “kochammas’ accept themselves as “workers” (whether inside the house or outside) Are they ready to call themselves working class? In Kerala the working class today is the poor migrant labourer from Bihar and Bengal. We, the Kerala people are great “business men” doing real estate business, vehicle agent, marriage broker, self finance college admission broker, agency which allots poor home nurses and domestic labourers. The so called “Adhwanam” has lost its credit. Only when we realise the value of “work” we will recover from this slavery.
Media and channels highlight the “sexual exploitation’ as if women are simple prey and all they own is their “body”…….biological body. The power inside her is consciously hidden by the corporates and channels. (don’t mistake this “power” with “empowerment”, which is a world Bank terminology to which personally I have difference of opinion. I meant by power mere potential) The potential of the working class is underrated today. The day their potential is realised and accpeted , then only their slavery will come to an end.

There is no such real liberation. It is relative. Female want to get liberation from all kinds of exploitations. Here also the problem emerges, what is exploitation?. All need to get satisfaction from this life, peace of mind and happiness. The way we get satisfaction and happiness differs from persons to person hence the meaning of freedom also differs. The actual exploitation according to me is, not providing equal opportunities to all. In this context, those who not get equal opportunity for education, health facilities, care ,affection, concern etc from their childhood-starting from womb is considered to be discrimination. In this world, due to so many reasons, females are not getting equal opportunities compared to their male counter parts. This should be avoided. Right to education covers children in between 6 to 14. But up to the age of six, starting from the moment when the life originates in the womb the brain development starts and ends. This period is really important. Moreover, this period is very important for a mother also,(female is concerned) they need special concern protection etc at least up to the end of breast feeding time. In Kerala, bringing up of children is a major problem where female compromise with male. And this is the main reason for female suppression. Educated females caged within house walls due to the responsibilities related with kids. Society can create sufficient infrastructure to help the female to come out from the cages. Male members are helpless in majority of the allegations raised against them. They are also playing withing the social value system like female. Democracy cannot be created within the existing family because, the families are not formulated according to democratic ways. ideological fight is the only way to move the society, that is missing in the present day social system.
